I Heart NY

There's something about New York that gets my adrenaline pumpin and gets my heart beating faster like the time you hollered at a dime piece for the very first time. This was my third visit to the Big Apple, yet this rush of excitement hit me as if I was a virgin to NY. There's a fiesty attitude amongst the people (and Bronx accents) that creates a swagger that can't be manipulated anywhere else in the world. I've fallen in love with NYC.

My trip 3 night/4 day trip started off kinda fucked up when I came to the realization that I was sitting in the middle seat of an Alaska Airlines economy row between two 275+ pound gnarly smellin dudes. I was stuck in such an awkward position for 6 hours.. FML!

But the moment I saw a glimpse of the city outside of the airplane window, the struggles I faced positioning myself to get comfortable was no longer an issue cuz I'm in New York Biaaaatch!! Downtown Manhattan.. The Statue of Liberty.. The Brooklyn Bridge.. The center of the world was there right before my eyes. I'm finally back in the NYC!!

As I got off the plane and turned my phone on, I got a bunch of texts from friends saying Michael Jackson passed away. I remember a feeling of bitter sweetness knowing that an icon I grew up rockin out to, had just passed away. It definitely was a shock to me. **RIP Michael**

The car service dropped me off in front of my hotel, I really didn't know what to expect from the hotel but my dude Shae reminded me that Biggie rapped about it..

"At the Mariott, we be lucky if we find a spot
next to yo sister, damn I really miss the way
she used to rub my back, when I hit that
way she used to giggle when yo ass would wiggle
now I know you're used to suites at the Parker Meridien
trips to the Carribean, but tonight, no ends"

Walking in to check in, my jaw just dropped. I was in complete awe. This was some baller status shit! My only thought at that moment was "I'm drinkin bottles of champagne on a beer budget"

The view from the room on the 29th floor.. Central Park is HUGE!! If you look way on the other side of the park, you can see Bernie Madoff's crib. Haha I mean X-crib.

New York callin for RPS!!

It's all about product placement..
